Parasite 01 - First Meeting

I was practicing with my tablet and made a comic page for the origin of one of my characters. I've used her on a few MUSHes, and two comic MMOs. One of the things I like about comic MMOs, like DC Online, is that they let you create characters 'inspired by' their main heroes. I would definitely say that she's meant to buddy up with the Spider/Venom types.

I used several new techniques on the comic panels, including gradients, glows, manga motion lines, and shadows using Photoshop. I had a lot of fun learning the new techniques. I'll have to play around with them some more in the future.

I was thinking, if she were in a sailor suit/school girl uniform, this story would take a whole different direction.
